SendGrid API Config
03. Admin User Manual › SendGrid API Config
Note: Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.
1. Overview
No SendGrid-branded configuration screen was found in this environment; searching Application Settings for "sendgrid" returned zero matches. The closest live equivalent is Application Settings > Email Manager, whose SMTP section holds the outbound mail configuration that any reply-threading setup would build on — CC Addresses, From Address and From Display Name, Password/Port/SMTP Server/Username (all marked "Managed by CobbleStone" and requiring a support request to change), and an SSL Connection toggle — plus an Alert on Reply toggle and per-record-type Alert Email Body templates (Contract, e-Source, Request, Vendor) that fire when a reply to a system email is received. Whether inbound replies are specifically routed through a SendGrid subdomain in this environment could not be confirmed from the admin UI; that level of detail is managed by CobbleStone directly per the "Managed by CobbleStone" fields.
2. Key Elements
- Application Settings > Email Manager is the closest live equivalent: SMTP connection details plus an Alert on Reply toggle and per-record Alert Email Body templates.
- Several SMTP fields (Password, Port, SMTP Server, Username) are marked "Managed by CobbleStone" — changing them requires a support request rather than self-service.
- No SendGrid-specific subdomain or API key configuration screen was found; searching Application Settings for "sendgrid" returned zero matches.
