Link a PO to a Contract Record

Note: Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

1. Overview

The same relationship can be created from the contract's side: a contract record's Actions menu includes Link Contract (Manage Record Actions group), and once a purchase order is linked, it shows up on the contract's Linked Records tab as a Purchase Orders entry, alongside a PO / Spend Against Budget widget that totals linked POs against the contract's budget.

2. Key Elements

• Contract record → Actions → Link Contract creates the same link from the contract side
• Linked Records tab on the contract lists a Purchase Orders count
• PO / Spend Against Budget widget rolls up linked PO totals against the contract's budget
