Email a Purchase Order

Note: Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

1. Overview

A purchase order can be produced as a document and shared via the Record Actions group of its Actions menu — Print renders it for viewing or emailing, and Record PDF generates a PDF copy of the record that can be attached to an outgoing message.

2. Key Elements

• Actions → Print (Record Actions group) renders the PO for sharing
• Actions → Record PDF generates a PDF copy of the record
• Copy Link, in the same menu, shares a direct link to the record instead of a file
