Using FAR/DFAR Clauses

Mergeable Clauses

A single FAR/DFAR clause may associated with a Mergeable Clause.

To create a new Mergeable Clause from a FAR/DFAR clause navigate to the New Mergeable Clause Page.

Enter a value for the traditional Mergeable Clause fields and choose a FAR/DFAR clause from the drop down, then click Save and Continue.  The mergeable fields section can be skipped since there will no placeholders in the DFAR clause.

 


To change the FAR/DFAR clause associated with a document load the Mergeable clause from the List then select Attached Content from the Content Setup Menu.  Use the Add DFAR Clause button to select a different clause.

From the dialog select the clause you would like to use, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Add to Mergeable Clause button.

This will mark the original clause as archived and the new clause as Published

The Mergeable Clause overview page will display the name of the FAR/DFAR clause if applicable.


Clause Library

When Clause is monitored, a clause is created in the Clause Library and the text is copied to that clause.
