Risk Mapper and Profiler

03. Admin User Manual › VISDOM & Risk Management › Risk Mapper and Profiler

Note: Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

1. Overview

Risk profiling is configured through Master Reference Data's Risk Profiler Categories tab. Each row defines one risk-profile question with an Is Active flag, the Risk Profile question text itself, a RiskProfile ID, a Parent Record type (tblContracts, tblCustomers, or tblSolicitations, determining which kind of record the question applies to), and a Risk Category grouping. This is the mapping layer behind VISDOM's and the application's risk scoring: it defines the question set and categories that a record's risk profile is built from, keyed to the record type so contracts, vendor/customer records, and solicitations can each have their own relevant risk questions.

2. Key Elements

  • Master Reference Data > Risk Profiler Categories defines the risk-profile question set used across the application.
  • Each entry has an Is Active flag, question text, a RiskProfile ID, a Parent Record type (tblContracts/tblCustomers/tblSolicitations), and a Risk Category.
  • The Parent Record type ties each question to the specific kind of record (contract, vendor/customer, or solicitation) it profiles.
