Risk Management with VISDOM Artificial Intelligence Overview

03. Admin User Manual › VISDOM & Risk Management › Risk Management with VISDOM Artificial Intelligence Overview

Note: Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

1. Overview

At a system level, VISDOM's contribution to risk management is configured and monitored from Administration's VISDOM AI category, which groups three tools: VISDOM Configuration (the Availability, Default extractions, Extraction behaviour, and Models & providers tabs that turn risk-related capabilities like Clause sentiment, High-risk findings, and Language Risk on or off and route them to an AI model), VISDOM Status (a Connected & Live banner confirming the connection to "CobbleStone VISDOM Services (VaaS)", with Connection, Capabilities, and Connection & Provisioning sections and Test reachability / Re-authorize VISDOM / Sync field metadata / Sync obligation types actions), and VISDOM Usage (permission-gated in this environment; described as tracking how much of an organization's monthly VISDOM allowance has been used). Together these give administrators a single place to enable, verify, and monitor the AI capabilities that feed risk analysis elsewhere in the application, rather than risk management being a single dedicated screen.

2. Key Elements

  • Administration > VISDOM AI groups VISDOM Configuration, VISDOM Status, and VISDOM Usage as the tools governing AI-driven risk analysis.
  • VISDOM Status confirms a live connection to CobbleStone VISDOM Services (VaaS) and offers Test reachability, Re-authorize VISDOM, Sync field metadata, and Sync obligation types actions.
  • VISDOM Usage (permission-gated when tested in this environment) tracks monthly VISDOM allowance consumption.
