Note: Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

1. Overview

A task is opened from either the My Tasks widget on Home (its title link routes straight to the underlying record) or a record's own Notices and alerts panel via the Go to task on this record link, which deep-links to the record's Tasks & Emails tab (?tab=tasks) rather than a separate pop-up window.

2. Key Elements

• My Tasks (Home) → clicking a task's title opens the record it belongs to
• A record's Notices and alerts → Task notice → Go to task on this record link jumps straight to that record's Tasks & Emails tab
• The URL pattern m/contracts/{id}?tab=tasks is how a task deep-link is expressed for a contract
• Once on the record, the Tasks and Workflows section (alongside Emails) is where the task itself is reviewed and answered
