RESOLUTIONS
RESOLUTION: Unable to create Request from Contract
Reference #: 250804.1203.15545
Users were previously unable to submit Requests directly from the Vendor Collaboration Gateway (VCG). This fix enables seamless Request creation from within the VCG interface, improving usability and contract management workflows.
RESOLUTION: Sign In field order flipped
Reference #: 250804.1288.15548
On the Vendor/Client Gateway (VCG) Welcome page, the Company ID field was incorrectly appearing before the Password field, disrupting the expected login flow. The field order on the VCG Welcome page has been corrected to follow the intended sequence:
- Username
- Password
- Company ID
RESOLUTION: Long titles on dropdowns causes overlapping
Reference #: 250804.1203.15553
Dropdown fields with long field names were overlapping the values for the field. This has been resolved by truncating the name of long fields and showing the full name in the tooltip.
RESOLUTION: All surveys show on E-Sourcing records
Reference #: 250804.1203.15554
All surveys were displaying on the E-Sourcing records whether it was assigned to the specific record or not. This has been fixed so that only the appropriately assigned surveys show as expected.
RESOLUTION: Horizontal scroll aligned right
Reference #: 250804.1203.15615
When the Vertical Scroll position in the Core system is set to left, the horizontal scroll for grids on the Vendor/Client Gateway are starting aligned/scrolled to the right. This has been adjusted so the grid is aligned left as expected.
RESOLUTION: Internal files appearing on a the Contract Search grid
Reference #: 250804.1203.15633
Files/Attachments on a Contract that were marked as an Internal file type in the Core system were showing on the Contract Search grid on the Vendor/Client Gateway. This has been resolved so only files with a type of Gateway or Public are available on the Vendor/Client Gateway as expected.
RESOLUTION: Contract and E-Sourcing grids defaulting to show Public records for logged in users
Reference #: 250804.1203.15827
After logging in and going to either Contracts or E-Sourcing, users were directed to the list of public records for the specified area. This has been updated to initially direct a logged in user to the My Contracts or My E-Sourcing list.
RESOLUTION: VCG Note and Rich Text control overlaps input
Reference #: 250804.1203.15829
The Note and Rich Text field formatting section of the field was overlapping the data input area, making it difficult to read the first line of entered text. This has been adjusted to allow for additional space between the field formatting section and data input area of the field.
RESOLUTION: Submit Request only showing public Request Type option
Reference #: 250804.1203.15882
Users logged into the Vendor/Client Gateway were only presented with public Request Types when clicking on the Submit Request button. This has been fixed so the configured Request Types for logged in users appear.
Supplemental Resolutions - 8/22/2025
RESOLUTION: Public Solicitation View Displaying Closed Bids
Reference #: 250804.1203.18138
Users were previously seeing closed bids when accessing the Public Solicitation view on the Solicitation search screen. This issue has now been resolved. The view will correctly display only Open Public bids, ensuring accurate and relevant information for users.
RESOLUTION: Type Filter on Solicitations Search Grid on the Vendor/Client Gateway
Reference #: 250804.1203.17964
An issue with the Solicitations search grid on the Vendor/Client Gateway was reported, where the grid was not displaying the correct record set based on the selected Type filter. This issue has now been resolved. Improvements have been made to ensure that the grid accurately reflects the corresponding filter selection, providing users with a more reliable and consistent search experience.
RESOLUTION: Approvals & Signatures Visibility Without Document Collaboration License
Reference #: 250804.1171.17600
Previously, the Approvals & Signatures option was appearing in the User Profile Menu on the Vendor/Client Gateway even when Document Collaboration was not licensed. This has now been corrected. A licensing check has been implemented to ensure that the option only displays when the feature is properly licensed, improving menu accuracy and user experience.
RESOLUTION: Unauthorized Login Without Activation on Vendor/Client Gateway
Reference #: 250804.1203.18307
Users were able to log into the Vendor/Client Gateway with a contact that had not been activated after creating the account. This behavior has now been corrected. Users will no longer be able to log in unless both the company and contact have been properly activated, ensuring compliance with expected account setup protocols.
RESOLUTION: Bid Alerts Tab Displaying Without Solicitations License
Reference #: 250804.1171.17601
An issue was identified where the Bid Alerts tab was visible under My Info in the User Profile Menu, even when the Solicitations Module was not licensed. This has now been fixed. The system now correctly checks for the Solicitations license before displaying the Bid Alerts tab, ensuring that only licensed features are shown to users.
RESOLUTION: File Upload Area Display in Vendor/Client Gateway Solicitations
Reference #: 250804.1171.16599
Previously, when accessing the Files & Attachments section within a Solicitation on the Vendor/Client Gateway, the file upload area was not clearly separated into distinct grids. Historically, this section included a Public Files grid and a My Files grid, but this separation was missing.
This has now been resolved. The file upload area has been restored to its intended structure, clearly distinguishing between Public Files and My Files, improving usability and clarity for users managing solicitation-related documents.
RESOLUTION: Public Documents Visibility on Vendor/Client Gateway for Public Solicitations
Reference #: 250804.1203.18119
An issue was identified in the latest release where public documents added to a public solicitation were not visible to logged-in users on the VCG Gateway, unless:
- The logged-in contact had uploaded the document themselves, or
- The document was associated with their vendor as a respondent during upload
The issue has been resolved. Now:
- Public documents tied to public solicitations are properly visible to all users, including logged-in contacts
- Respondent-specific attachments remain hidden unless the user is the associated respondent
- Unauthenticated users continue to see public documents as expected
RESOLUTION: File Access Discrepancy on Vendor/Client Gateway
Reference #: 250804.1203.18123
An issue was identified where unauthenticated users accessing the Vendor/Client Gateway were able to view all files attached to solicitation records, while authenticated users could not access the Files/Attachments section at all.
This behavior was inconsistent and misleading, as logged-in users should have at least the same level of access as public users when viewing public solicitation records.
The issue has now been resolved. Access to the Files/Attachments section is now properly aligned:
- Unauthenticated users can view public files as expected
- Authenticated users can also access public files, with additional access based on their role and relationship to the solicitation (e.g., respondent-specific documents)
RESOLUTION: Solicitation Q&A Grid Display Fix
Reference #: 250804.1203.16599
An issue was identified where the Solicitation Q&A grid was displaying raw HTML markup instead of rendering the intended styling and formatting. This caused confusion and reduced readability for users interacting with Q&A content.
This has now been resolved. The grid correctly renders the text, ensuring a clean and user-friendly display of questions and answers.
