How To: Generate Client ID and Client Secret

Once logged into Contract Insight, the following instructions can be followed to create the CobbleStone® Software Client ID and Client Secret.

Note:

This is only accessible by System Administrator users within the system


1. From the main menu, select My > My API Clients (Main Menu item locations may differ due to system configuration) 

2. In the side menu, select Add API Client from the Actions section

3. On the Add API Client page: 

  • Enter a descriptive name (e.g. name of the application the API will be used for)

  • Ensure Enabled is set to Yes

  • Click to OK button


4. The Application is now saved and the Client ID and Client Secret are generated
