Vendor/Client Gateway Administration Is One Screen Inside Contract Insight

The Vendor/Client Collaboration Gateway that outside vendors and clients sign in to remains its own web site. It is not replaced by this upgrade, it continues to read the same database, and the pages your vendors and clients use behave as they do today. What has moved is its administration: Gateway settings, sign-in, field setup by record type, record header tags and sign-up forms are now five tabs on a single Vendor/Client Gateway (VCG) screen with one card in the administration hub, instead of separate pages scattered through Administration. Gateway item approval is likewise reached from Procurement.
Menu entries your organization authored and existing bookmarks still work and open the matching tab, including entries that name a starting area such as Contracts, and a menu entry pointing at the older Gateway fields page that version 22.7 had already withdrawn now opens the current screen directly. Tabs that save as you click carry their own toolbar, while the two settings tabs stage your edits and save them in one go. A bookmark to a particular sign-up form opens that form on first load, although the address no longer follows you as you move around the form builder. Gateway configuration entries on a menu your organization authored still appear whether or not the Gateway is licensed, exactly as they did before, and opening one says the Gateway is not enabled for your organization.
How will this affect users?
End users are not affected as only System Administrators have access to these settings, and vendors and clients keep using the Gateway address they already have.
Ability to Build Gateway Sign-up Forms on One Screen

The self registration form a new company fills in on the Gateway is built in one place: the form, then its steps, then the blocks in each step, then the fields in each block, with required and unique settings and drag ordering. Version 22.7 spread the same job across four separate screens for listing, editing, previewing and deleting. Opening a form swaps the panel without leaving the tab, and All forms takes you back to the list. The list of tables offered for a block is now the same however you reach the screen, and a block's table can be changed after it has been saved, with a warning that its existing fields belong to the previous table, so a wrong choice no longer means deleting the block and building it again.
How will this affect users?
End users are not affected. The sign-up form designer now requires System Administrator rights, where previously being signed in was enough, so anyone who is not a System Administrator will no longer reach it.
Gateway Multifactor Authentication Settings Sit Beside the Employee Settings

The Gateway's multifactor settings are set on the Multifactor Authentication screen, under an audience switch for your own people and for vendors and clients, beside the identical employee settings, and the Gateway screen's sign-in tab links straight to it. The authentication style and the code style are chosen by name instead of appearing as unexplained numbers in a box. The Gateway audience now also inherits the checks that screen carries, refusing a configuration with no method selected, an SMS-only configuration on a system with no SMS integration, or an e-mail template missing its code. Challenge questions are not offered for the Gateway audience, which has never supported them. Switching audience clears any unsaved edits, because the two audiences do not share values.
