Text Control Service

The Text Control Service is a tool used by ContractInsight to allow users to modify documents using a MS-Word Inspired online word processor. THIS LINK will take you to a demo version that explains it's features and how it works. It is very important that your SSL Certification from a Trusted Authority is in place in order to make sure this piece of ContractInsight functions correctly.

This service uses Port 4279. 

To Install:

1. Copy the file path to the folder. For example: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\TextControlService30 
2. Open the command prompt as an admin 
3. Type in cd then insert the copied file path from step 1
4. Run following command: txregwebsvr.exe /i /w /e
5. It may take a minute or more to load and you are looking for a successfully installed message. If it fails, you probably did not install 2013 C++ Redistributable (64) installed on IIS (Exact Version Needed). Install and try again.
