# 1. Overview

Procurement → **Shopping** is described as browsing a supplier's catalog and building a cart, then turning it into a purchase order or a request. A searchable **Supplier catalog** picker limits choices to catalogs the user has been given access to, and items added there populate **Your cart**, which converts into a new PO's line items — seen on existing line items as an Order Type of **From Shopping Cart**.
