# Setting Signature Place Holders - E-Signatures

### **Setting Signature Place Holders - E-Signatures**

**Setting Signature Place Holders** ![Click Add Placeholders to add them to the document.](https://cdn.document360.io/e3626857-1fb5-4e27-b278-2d3fc5508be4/Images/Documentation/AddPlaceholders_1.png) By clicking **Add Placeholders**, the user is directed to the **Document Collaboration Gateway**. Once in the gateway, navigate to the position on the document at which the place holders should be set. Drag a placeholder from the side menu onto it's desired place on the document. ![Document Gateway](https://cdn.document360.io/e3626857-1fb5-4e27-b278-2d3fc5508be4/Images/Documentation/Signing%20Placeholders.PNG) On this screen, the participant to use this placeholder is determined. Available signers are from the list of signers specified before the [IntelliSign Process](/v1/docs/starting-an-intellisign-process) or [E-Signature Process](/v1/docs/e-signature-processing-1) was started. Also, the width and height of the placeholder can be set by dragging the edges of the placeholder.
