**Note:** Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

# 1. Overview

**Schema Explorer** reviews how a chosen **area** is actually stored — its columns, the lookup lists its dropdown fields draw from, and the other areas linked to it — covering the same exhaustive list of built-in and custom tables used across Field Management, Translations and Bulk Update.

# 2. Key Elements

- Administration → **Schema Explorer**: pick any **Area** from the full table list to inspect its structure
- Shows an **area**'s columns, which lookup lists feed its dropdown fields, and which other areas link to it
- Useful for tracing how a custom sub-table or lookup relates to the built-in record areas around it
