# Patch 22.7.3 - Module: Document Collaboration & E-Signature

Optional Add-On Module for the collaboration of documents between internal and external users/participants. This module utilizes E-Approval (Electronic Approval) and/or E-Signature (Electronic Signature) processing to support full online negotiation via a secure online portal.

**Enhancement: Notify Company Contacts at the Start and End of Signature and Approval Processes**

Company contacts can now be added to receive notifications at the start and end of signature and approval processes, in addition to employees. New controls for adding these contacts have been added to the setup pages for both signature and approval processes.

**Enhancement: Mergeable Values Available in Document Template File Names**

A new option allows merge field values to be included in the file name of attachments added through Document Templates. Once selected, the file name will reflect the merged value when the template is generated, with a default name used automatically if no value is available.

**Resolution: Unable to Select Signer Type When Starting an E-Sign Process**

Some users were unable to select a signer type when starting an e-signature process. This issue has been resolved, and signer type options will now populate as expected.

**Resolution: Expiration Notifications Sent for Completed Mass Signing Jobs**

*Reference #: 260630.345.34644*

Users were receiving signature expiration reminder emails for mass signing jobs that had already been completed. This issue has been resolved, and expiration notifications will no longer be sent once a signing job is finalized.
