**On-Screen Validation Messages**

Not all alerts are driven by tasks. If your organization has set Workflow to process Validation Messages based on conditions, alerts can be set to provide a text validation message on a record.

If a record meets previously established criteria, a validation message such as the one above can display. It operates as an alternative/addition to task alerts.

In the example above, for records with a Contract Amount of greater than $20 Million, the validation message in blue displays.
