### **Notifications & Email Alerts - E-Approvals**

**Document Collaboration Gateway E-Approvals & E-Signatures: Document Notifications & E-Mail Alerts for E-Approvals** An email with Invitation to in the subject line is sent to the participant(s). It is the email from which action is required. The participant(s) sees that they have been invited to E-Approve or E-Sign and, by clicking the link at the bottom of the email, is taken to the **Document Collaboration Portal**. ![E-Approval Email Notification](https://cdn.document360.io/e3626857-1fb5-4e27-b278-2d3fc5508be4/Images/Documentation/E-Approval%20Email.PNG)If the process requires a **Secure** **PIN**, each participant is required to provide or create one.
