Sub-Tables: Mergeable Sub-Tables

In addition to individual fields, sub-tables from the record details screen can be merged onto templates as well. The Mergeable Sub-Tables screen allows users to select one or more of the sub girds/sub tables for the area the template is for (i.e. Template for Contracts). These selected sub tables can be used as placeholders for mergeable content in word type files (doc, docx).

 Sub-Tables: Adding Fields

After the table(s) have been successfully added we can click the Actions drop down and select Add Fields

Using Add Multiple you can add multiple fields at once to the subtable. This is useful as it can save users time when trying to bulk add fields to a subtable.

You can also use Auto Count which will automatically total the field.

After your fields have been added, click save and we can create display and row conditions on the table.

 Sub-Tables: Display Conditions

Click Actions drop down and select Set Display Conditions. 

Filtering Control
1. And/Or Selector: Used to determine if a new expression is being added as an 'AND' or 'OR' condition

2. Add New Filter Expression
Adds a new filter expression to the list of conditions (takes into consideration the 'And/Or Selector')

3. Add Expression Group
Adds a new sub-grouping of expressions to be used in complex conditions. (takes into consideration the 'And/Or Selector' between groups)

4. Remove Filter Item
Removes the filter/condition from the list of applied filters and conditions.

Saving

Once the filters/conditions have been specified, click Save. This will save the filters to the template.

Sub-Tables: Row Conditions

You can add Row Conditions to your sub table by clicking the Actions drop down and selecting Row Conditions. The filter controls on this window function the same as the Display Conditions window. The only difference here is the conditions set will affect what rows appear when the template is merged to the record.
