**Note:** Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

# 1. Overview

A company's **Linked Records** tab includes a **Linked Companies** count (0 in the sample record examined) for connecting related company records to each other — parent/subsidiary relationships or other affiliated entities — the same linking concept used to connect contracts to each other via Contract Hierarchy.
