# IntelliApprove Overview

The **Document Authoring Module** with Contract Insight also offers another way of electronically signing documents. This is our IntelliApprove Process. This process does not require setting up Approval Groups the way the [E-Approval Process](/v1/docs/e-approvals-processing) does. In the following pages, we will look at managing and processing **CobbleStone® IntelliApprove**.

**Note:** When creating a document template, specify if the document created from the template is allowed to be IntelliApproved. This step takes place when [Managing the Document Template](https://wiki.CobbleStonesoftware.com/docs/template-overview) to be merged.
