RESOLUTIONS
RESOLUTION: Merge Fields Not Populating Before PDF Conversion
Reference #: 251222.345.23761
We have resolved an issue where merge fields were not being applied to Word documents before they were converted to PDF during the Document Merge process in Template Setup. This resulted in PDFs missing the expected merged content.
The merge process now correctly applies all merge fields to the document before converting it to PDF. When using the Convert to PDF option in Template Setup, the generated PDF will include all expected merged data.
RESOLUTION: Conditional Fields in Subtables
Reference #: 251222.345.9489
We’ve fixed an issue where conditional fields in subtables were not behaving as expected. Previously, after canceling an Add action and then starting a new one, conditional fields would display even when their conditions were not met. This caused confusion when toggling values or re-entering data.
This has now been resolved. Conditional fields will correctly show or hide based on their defined conditions, even after canceling and re-adding entries.
RESOLUTION: Document Templates Access When Document Collaboration Is Unlicensed
Reference #: 251222.345.23687
We’ve fixed an issue that was preventing access to Document Templates when Document Collaboration was not licensed and Allow Free Access was set to False.
Users attempting to manage or edit document templates were receiving the following message:
“Unauthorized Access/Unlicensed Component – Document Collaboration and E-Sign Management is not licensed. Please contact your administrator.”
Users can now access and manage Document Templates as expected, even when Document Collaboration is unlicensed and free access is disabled.
RESOLUTION: Mergeable Clauses Formatting with “No Break” Option
Reference #: 251222.1157.23910
When a mergeable clause was placed inline with other text and set to No Break, merging the template would remove the existing text on that line.
Clauses now respect formatting rules:
- If the clause is set to inherit from parent, it will merge as inline text without removing other content.
- Otherwise, the clause will merge as a new paragraph, preserving surrounding text.
RESOLUTION: Correct Branding for VISDOM Basic Processing
Reference #: 251222.1204.21109
We’ve fixed an issue where the VISDOM Add page displayed VISDOM+ branding even when using VISDOM Basic processing. Now, when you process files with VISDOM Basic, the page will correctly show:
- Breadcrumb: “Add with VISDOM Basic”
- Field Values Box: “Field Values found by VISDOM Basic”
This ensures the branding matches the processing method you’re using for a clearer and more accurate experience.
