**Note:** Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

# 1. Overview

**Field Management**'s **Input masks** tab manages reusable entry-**format** masks for single-line text fields — patterns like a comma-and-decimal number, a date, an email address, or a formatted name — which are then applied to any matching field from that field's own editor.

# 2. Key Elements

- Administration → **Field Management** → **Input masks**: 13 masks defined in this QA environment, including Comma & Decimal Mask, Date, Email test and First Name
- Each mask shows its **Format** pattern (e.g. ##/##/#### for Date) and whether it is currently Used by a field
- **Add mask** creates a new reusable pattern; Edit changes an existing one, and it takes effect wherever it's applied
