**Note:** Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

# 1. Overview

A task created by a workflow can fire off an email built from a **Notification Template** — visible after the fact on the record's **Tasks & Emails** tab as a **TASK ALERT** (e.g. "Contract Insight **Task Alert**: 5254 test … Testing **Notification Template** for Contracts_Testing 4627") or a broader **WORKFLOW ALERT**, each rendered with whatever Notification **Theme** the template uses and resendable directly from the email view.

# 2. Key Elements

- Emails section of **Tasks & Emails** shows every **TASK ALERT** and **WORKFLOW ALERT** sent for that record, newest first
- Each alert email is built from a **Notification Template**, including its configured **Theme** and Merge tokens
- **Resend** and **Follow up** controls sit directly on an open alert email
- "Also email these addresses whenever this template changes" (on the template editor) is a separate alert path, for template edits rather than task events
