# Email a Purchase Order

**Email a Purchase Order**

**Note:** Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

# 1. Overview

A purchase order can be produced as a document and shared via the Record Actions group of its Actions menu — **Print** renders it for viewing or emailing, and **Record PDF** generates a PDF copy of the record that can be attached to an outgoing message.

# 2. Key Elements

- Actions → **Print** (Record Actions group) renders the PO for sharing
- Actions → **Record PDF** generates a PDF copy of the record
- **Copy Link**, in the same menu, shares a direct link to the record instead of a file
