**Note:** Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

# 1. Overview

A workflow's **Conditions** tab defines which records it **runs on** — "a record has to match every condition listed." With no **conditions** added, the tab states plainly that it **runs on** every record of that type; **Add condition** and **Add statistics condition** build out field-based and aggregate-based criteria respectively.

# 2. Key Elements

- **Conditions** tab → "Which records this workflow **runs on**. A record has to match every condition listed."
- No **conditions** at all means the workflow **runs on** every record of its **RUNS ON** type
- **Add condition** adds a standard field-based rule; **Add statistics condition** adds one based on an aggregate/statistical value
- The Overview tab's **ONLY WHEN** line summarizes the current condition set in plain language
