Configuring Fields
03. Admin User Manual › VISDOM & Risk Management › Configuring Fields
Note: Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.
1. Overview
Administration > VISDOM Configuration is the central screen for tuning how VISDOM behaves across the system, organized into four tabs. Availability controls whether VISDOM is on at all (Turn VISDOM AI off for everyone) and which edition — VISDOM or VISDOM+ — the AI doors open with by default. Default extractions lists the individual capabilities that can be toggled on or off, grouped as Field extractions, the CLAUSES group (Clause extraction, Clause sentiment, and High-risk findings — the latter two require clause extraction to be on), and standalone tools (Possible system additions, Obligations, and GSA extraction). Extraction behaviour sets numeric thresholds: percentage cutoffs for hiding or flagging low-confidence obligation suggestions, how many fields a single extraction pass may fill, and how many characters of document text are handed to the assistant before truncation. Models & providers, under an AI Profile Manager panel, shows the effective tier (VISDOM+, managed by CobbleStone), the default provider and model (VISDOM (VaaS) / gpt-4o-mini in this environment), and a per-service routing table listing every AI-backed capability — Field Extraction, Obligation Analysis, Obligation Tasks, Record Type, LLM Agent (Chat), Language Risk, Value Selection, Sentiment, and Setup Assistant — each with its own enabled toggle and provider/model/fallback-provider/fallback-model selectors, defaulting to (inherit) from the tier default.
