# 1. Overview

The **VISDOM Assistant** (bottom-right purple chat icon), is an AI assistant for asking questions about records and the application, not a person-to-person messaging thread with colleagues. If direct internal messaging between users is required, it does not appear to be available as a self-service feature in this QA environment.
