CobbleStone maintains High Availability SQL server instances for SaaS clients to ensure a multi-zonal replication is maintained with automatic failover. In the event of a datacenter regional disaster CobbleStone maintains a rolling 30-day backup stored in a in a geographically disperse location. The restore (RTO) should be commensurate with the level of disaster but not exceed 24 to 72 hours for SaaS clients. In addition, backup files are stored as binary in a BLOB/IMAGE file in the database. Files are NOT stored as clear text on a file system.
With the zonal datacenter disaster, the expected RPO is 10 minutes. With a regional datacenter disaster, the RPO is 24 hours.
