**Note:** Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

# 1. Overview

Administration → Automation & Data → **Workflows** is the advanced manager for every rule that creates **tasks** and changes field values automatically — 692 **workflows** in this environment, filterable by **RUNS ON** record type and **STATUS** (All/On/Off/**Runs on edit**), each row showing its condition and task counts and expandable into five tabs: **Overview**, **Conditions**, **Tasks**, **Alerts**, and **Settings**.

# 2. Key Elements

- Administration → **Workflows** lists every workflow grouped by the record type it **RUNS ON** — Contracts (258), Vendors/Customers (104), Contract Requests (91), and more
- **RUNS ON** and **STATUS** filters, plus a **Runs on edit** checkbox and a free-text search, narrow the list
- Expanding a workflow reveals **Overview**, **Conditions**, **Tasks**, **Alerts**, and **Settings** tabs for that one rule
- **Add workflow** starts a new rule from scratch; **Duplicate** and **Delete workflow** (on the **Settings** tab) manage existing ones
