**Note:** Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

# 1. Overview

Beyond the full report designer reached from the Reports hub, a shorter ad-hoc reporting flow is available directly from a record list — building a quick report (**fields**, filters, **sort**, **sharing**, **schedule**) scoped to whatever list you're already viewing, without a separate table-selection step since the list itself defines the table.

# 2. Key Elements

- A quick ad-hoc report starts from the list you're already on, skipping the Tables step of the full report designer
- It still ends at **Fields**, **Filter**, **Sort**, **Sharing** and **Schedule** steps, the same underlying report configuration used by the full designer
- The result is run and viewed the same way as any other report, including exporting or scheduling it for email delivery
