4. Filters and Conditions

11. End Users: Ad-Hoc Reports/Searches › Ad-Hoc Report Wizard › 4. Filters and Conditions

Note: Each procedure in this guide begins at the Contract Insight homepage, so any section can be followed on its own. Custom fields are configurable, so the exact field list on a contract category record may vary between environments.

1. Overview

The full report designer's Filter section works the same way as the ad-hoc flow's: rows must match a set of conditions, with nested groups mixing ALL (every condition must match) and ANY (at least one must match) logic, built only after at least one column has been added on the Fields section.

2. Key Elements

  • Insights → Reports → Add report → Filter: "Add some columns first — a report filters on the columns it outputs."
  • Conditions can be grouped and nested to combine ALL/ANY logic within a single filter
  • Filter conditions apply every time the report runs, whether run manually, on its email schedule, or exported
